All About Dogs

Dog Shows consists of a variety of events; Sporting, Hound, Working, Terrier, Toy, Non-Sporting, and Herding. Different dog breeds compete for each category.

Many dog events are televised. Judging Agility events are quite different from Dog Show events. The dog is trained to perform a variety of skills. This requires teamwork, conditioning and training.

To develop a show dog, it is a good idea to purchase your puppy or dog from a qualified dog breeder. Proper care is essential. This requires practice, regular grooming and a proper diet.

It takes a great deal of preparation, for both of you to get into serious competition.
